This sweet print of a robin was made using a technique called chine-collé. The color/pattern of the robin's chest is Japanese washi paper - not ink! The washi is adhered to the paper simultaneously with the inked bird. This results in a unique print with an extra handmade touch.
You have three variations to choose from: red pattern, pink crinkle, and orange. The variations refer to the washi paper used.
This print is approximately 4” x 6”, made with oil-based ink and washi paper, and printed on white kozo paper.
Please note that, due to the nature of using patterned paper, the actual product you receive may vary slightly from the photos due to the positioning of the washi when the shapes were created.
